I have a series one r33, with a second hand series two engine in. They found out the crank angle sensor from series two is different. So there changing them now. But is there anything Else I should know? I heared there are some ecu compatability issues?

Well as far as i know the S1 has an external igniter pack as for the S2 has got it built in the ECU

Do you know what year the car was that the series 2 engine is from? 98' (last of series 2 R33s) RB25s use the same CAS as the neo motors (black plastic item) but apart from that they are all the same.

Also ECUs are exactly the same. Series 1 has an external ignitor, series 2 has ignitor in coilpacks, not ECU.

However if you do happen to have a engine from a 98' R33 I could be wrong. Sure about 94'-97' models but...

Apart from that you should be fine
