car is a 34 gtt auto

only got basic mods:

3" turbo back/split dump

front mount cooler

12psi

gtr bov

recently ditched the pod for factory airbox but still using steel intake pipe

should mention that budget is tight so no big $$$ power fc's and such :D for now anyway...

my target is around the 220rwkw mark

cheers

check what diff gears you have - auto's usually run different vs manual, manual will give you more lateral acceralation

safc is a must for auto as you can't change ecu and are cost limited

dont run mega big wheels sub 19s, smaller will give you better acceleration

go for the SAFC and tune the pants off it

it will make a big difference to how the car drives

+1 for nistune!! cost me $800 for a type 4 board installed with a tune. very happy and its now there for when I hiflow the turbo.

plus it is all internal to the ecu so no hassle from the cops!

My advice to you is to check that eveything else on the car is right before you go modifying anything else:

Brakes

Susp/Bushings

Belts, plugs and consumables

Lights

Saftey equipment.

Then if you still have budget leftover, look into highflowing your turbo or installing a nistune board.

Bah! boring,

Strap on a T88, up the boost and hold the funk on! YAGRHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

id be going the nistune route mate.... safc arent that much cheaper and you got to get it instlled and tuned anyway.....also upgrade the fuel pump... i would also consider getting a shift kit stage 2 in the auto get the lazy auto box shifting gears more firmer.....

i think i'll settle for a SAFC and tune for now

thanks for your help fellas

You will regret it, absolute waste of money, your next mod after that will still have to be an ecu upgrade, save some more and go the nistune, atleast with a nistune unless you are aiming for over 400rwkw you will not need to upgrade it for future mods.
