What lubricant for R33 RB25DET Gearbox

I am in the US so I dont have the FSM for the motor or anything and no local shop to ask. I was wondering what kind of oil to use in the transmission, its a manual. When I started to drain it, it smelled and felt like gear oil 80w90 but I didnt know what factory recommends or yall recommend. Tell me what yall think, thanks.

Yup deffinetly the Redline gearbox oil. It aint cheap and it will need a good 1000km to get settled but it certainly made a difference for me.

Something Synthetic is good. Mobil 1 Gearbox oil i heard is good also. Motul have good oils for every application. Most people will tell u Redline that is good too.

What lubricant for R33 RB25DET Gearbox

Natural is always good but if cant get it natuaral try KY Jelly, they are water based

and for the gear box REDLine all the way.

the owner's manual calls for 75w-90 GL4 rated oil. don't get shell helix synthetic oil, it made my gearbox worse. i'm trying VMX80 next time and then moving up to redline if that isn't too my liking.
