Flag Marshal ?

Flag Marshals- the guys who stand in those little posts and watch the action on the track, reporting any incidents and accidents to the stewards, and also waving flags to communicate with drivers. They might also be supported by Spotters, who sit around the track and report anything these guys might have missed.

The above post I stole from something Kel posted in 2005, Ive looked on the CAMS site but was unable to find info on what course needs to be done.

Guys

You basically show up to any CAMS event and sign on...You basically have to learn it on the job

You will get breifed in the morning on the fundamentals and then helped through it on the radio through out the day!!

I am looking for flag marshals for Superlap on 21st & 22nd May at Eastern Creek...if you interested??

"SSCC isnt just for logged cars...All members do a range of events in various grades of cars..From skidpan days to supersprints all the way up to proper grid racing and tarmac rallysyou will fit in just fine
