R32 any known problems???

Unfortunatly it was a DOG

It was my first drive on an R32 and it was a let down.

It would only set you back in the seat at about 5000rpm, is this normal?

Does anyone on the forums have some clean examples for sale at the moment?

Yeah everyone has covered most of the known issues. Another rust spot to check is under the side skirts if the 32 has them.

btw i've had no problems with my headlights at all.

no thats not normal, it should pull hard alot earier than that

Another fault i should point out is that if you up the boost, the exhaust wheel of the turbo has a tendancy to separate from the shaft. The turbos on them aren't anything to write home about and only make good boost between around 2500rpm to 5500rpm....then it'll fall.

Left head light plays up. Just need to flick the switch a few times.

Climate control sometimes does funny things.

Appart from that, its da bomb.

mine had a broken left vent, left headlight comes on as and when it feels like it, peeling rubber.

but all solved/gone now.
