Ceffy Handbrake Cables.

Time to finally fix the very stretched cables in my ceff,

Will anything else work?

Or do I specifically need ones for A31?

hydro handbrake isnt a option

use a bit of very small dia metal cylinder as a spacer at the adjuster next to the lever.

bunnings have a alloy one that works ok, using one in my daily. hasnt bent or cracked with all the handbrakies etc

currently have about 10 washers and 2 adj nuts in there, I think the cables way past its use-by date haha.

That link frenchy gave me doesnt really confirm anything.

lol, nice. you could still give it a go for current use its like a meter long so cut to size, cheaper then new lines.

from nissan fast it shows it as the same part code, BUT i hear fast is known for mixing stuff like that up

Just get new cables from nissan.

have you adjusted the handbrake shoes, there is an adjustor screw in the hub to move the shoes closer to the disk

Just replace the shoes and adjust them from the drum I rekn they'll be fine

well all i can help u with is that r33 cables DONT fit. (too long)

im running r32 2 door cables in mine and they work fine

^ i ment r32 lines in my last post so maybe nissan FAST doesnt lie half the time

Nissan FAST lists the part codes the same, but part no. lookup usually brings back different.

My copy of fast lists the same part code for A31 fender and R33 fender ...definately not the same.

yea im running r32 2 door cables aswell, works fine for me
