I can't F**KN believe ur selling it Dan. DON"T DO IT. You're going to regret it. This is the sexiest looking GTT in oz & very well kept with tasteful power. Good luck with the sale Dan. Hopefully it will be looked after. :)

yea, sweet car dood.. I remeber seeing it ages ago. b4 you had the proper bonnet fitted. Ive always wanted the East bear Kit. Now that its a bit cheaper I might just get the Front end conversion

thanks Anth, hope your car gets all sorted soon :) You're probably right, i probably will regret it but i'm sure it'll make way for something else just as nice... hopefully :)

That's why i've advertised on SAU first (just put one up on ns.com the other day) as i'm hoping to sell it to someone who will appreciate it and look after it properly.

Gazz: i did the front first and but you just can't leave it after doing the front. It's so low and mean, it just had to be finished off. So i did :)

a few comments about the rear diffuser, so i thought i'd put a pic up. Car is quite dirty in this pic, so excuse that, but i'm working my way from the inside out in the big clean.

Again, professionally installed by the boys at Status Tuning - i was dubious about how much difference it was going to make, but i can guarantee you it does make a big difference. So much so, my g/f who is not the least bit interested in cars and drives an auto 'rolla could notice how much more stable it was at speed. You won't notice it puttering around at 60km/hr etc... but say accelerating onto the freeway or down the straights at Sandown... easily noticeable. Very happy with this particular mod. I think there's one for in the for sale section for about $2,500 if anyone else is keen

And for those with keen eyes, those rear tyres are the spare set of Bridgestone 265/35's (going with the car) - so i'm not even driving around on my near new KU36's at the moment ;) Might chance them over just before handing over the car, so as to keep them as fresh as possible for the lucky new owner :)

Gotta love the R34 GTR rim fitment on GT-T's.... flush :D

That's the cleanest skyline I've ever seen. Makes my genuine C West hide in the nearest dark corner. Best of luck with the sale, I'm truly jealous of the next owner.

And I think i've just been convinced to ditch my spoiler

don't go hiding mate! there are VERY few genuine kits getting around of ANY brand. Count yourself lucky if you bought it like that or good on ya for going genuine :)

still cleaning up the engine bay, but have pretty much finished tackling the interior. It's kinda fun, do a full-on detail... gone a little crazy. Cotton wool, paint brushes bought from Riot to fiddle bits... custom made vacuum cleaner attachments  she's pretty much spotless inside now... but i'm tempted to start getting the cotton wool onto the seat rail bolts, etc... the small details that make the difference :D

here's some interior shots. I basically dismantled the whole interior (didn't take the seats out) and give it a real thorough clean. (cotton wool, Final Inspection GPC, MF cloths, etc) - the finish/paint on the interior parts for 34's is damn shite from the factory, so i did the best that i could. She's looking very shmick inside and the black floor mats are sooo much better than the standard nissan ones.

I'll get some shots of the seats as well. Contemplating whether to get Damian @ Final Inspection to steam clean them... last time he did as part of an interior detail it really didn't look much different, which wasn't his fault at all... it's just the grey colouring of the seats doesn't exactly show this dramatic change, even if they are absolutely spotless. They basically look the same. Might still do it anyway, even if it looks the same, at least i'll know they're perfectly clean.

You can see the boost controller install as well in some of the last pics.

And steering wheel, handbrake, gearknob are all original items. Might try some FI GPC on the red stitching of the steering wheel, see if it brightens things up a bit.

Interior has been cleaned more than this as well, all the kick panels, doors, etc. But basically just a wipe down with a damp MF cloth, with a bit of FI GPC, then wiped again with a clean damp MF cloth.

you missed a spot man...

lol i cant belive this is still for sale. and im guessing ppl know by know how anal you are about you car so this thing will be an awesome buy for anyone.

damn it just looks sooooooooooooo good.

the interior parts are so damn hard to clean! i resorted to using masking tape in the end! friggen masking tape! hahaha. I'd roll a bit around one of my finger tips and the gently press and remove on the interior bits to remove all the little bits of fluff etc. yes, i am completely sane.... :P

dude, it's only been up like 1 week hahaha, and only sau and ns.com, i haven't even gone to carsales yet!

and for those watching this car... let's just say i wouldn't hang around too long on this :D without going into details :(

I haven't even got to the paint correction yet ;) The shiny shots tend to get people going the most... interior is boring :P

This is one of the ultimate R34 GTT's for sale...

I can vouch for the care put into this car, just from the perfect condition of the Nismo rear bar and side skirts i bought from SS8 GOHAN.

Ladies and gentlemen if you want a car that has been looked after and cared for with a good history i would have to say this is it..

Good luck with the sale man and thanks again for the kit. Gee I miss the R34, You know you will too.

thanks for the comments guys

and Trent, thanks mate. Considering how many 34's you've seen and worked on, i very much appreciate the comment >_<

And also many many thanks for all the work you've put into this car. Guys, this car has only ever been tuned by Trent. one of the best in Australia and the car has never missed a beat. Obviously, Trent has done the mapping for both E85 and BP98.

finished claying the car the other day, will be polishing this week. Pics to follow asap

omg I'm gonna be in the market for an r34 in just under a year but I'm positive I'd be hard-pressed to find anything like this...

ffs, I would probably feel unworthy of having it.

GL with the sale. I'm half-hoping it will still be there near year's-end, but I doubt it. :)

    • It can't be some stupidly proprietary video signal coming out of it that only Nissan's can understand. Surely you can just find some generic camera to stuff in there and use hot melt glue/blu-tac/gaffer tape to hold it in place if need be?
    • Update: Tunehouse looked into the problem and identified a wiring issue between the camera unit and the connector. They managed to get it working , but did warn me at some point it will stop working again. From their perspective it is unserviceable and will need replacement. They did some research and found that the new replacement camera would be Approx $1400 supply only (their fitting cost would be $190) . They did provide the part number (28442-JL05B) and a quick google of the part number shows that these are rather expensive brand new (seemingly no longer in manufacture) for the places that still have them in stock, with the used option potentially presenting  the same issue down the track at some unknown point. They are happy for me to supply the part so that they can fit it. Decisions, decisions... I can definitely recommend Tunehouse (thankyou Vee37!). Cost for the diagnosis was as quoted  ($190) , car was ready on time and communication was top notch. Their workshop is super clean and modern, and there was plenty of car candy parked out the front on the day I went.   Would definitely go back.
    • to fix the voltage drop issue I swapped out the old 150amp alternator which turns out is a brand known for having issues and replaced it with the black 180amp alternator beside it
    • For anyone interested, the Way Back Machine has that Japanese website archived with pictures, etc: https://web.archive.org/web/20051023225805fw_/http://www.a31cefiro.com/air_con.htm "Simply swapping the wiring of the harness will not allow it to function properly. For the outdoor air sensor and sunlight sensor, disconnect the wiring connected to CN1-11 of the air conditioning harness from the harness and connect the sensor side wiring to earth. For the indoor air sensor, disconnect the wiring connected to CN2-3 of the air conditioning harness from the harness and connect the sensor side wiring to earth. The connector PIN numbers listed here are the genuine A31 PIN numbers. To avoid incorrect wiring, check with a tester before wiring. Also, disconnect the wiring in a location close to the sensor. The disconnected harness side wiring will not be used, so be sure to insulate it." Wish someone sold a conversion harness to just plug-and-play a Kouki 180sx digital climate control into C33/A31. I'm decent with wiring but feeling kinda lazy about taking this on. Edit: Did some more digging and found a helpful Minkara blog post about the conversion as well: https://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/1831116/car/1360568/2284209/note.aspx "After installation is complete or the battery is replaced, you need to go into self-diagnosis mode and set the internal air recirculation. The way to do it is to "hold OFF with the key on for more than 5 seconds, set the number to 5, then press 卍→C." ↑↑↑It probably won't make sense unless you actually try it (・∀・)." Lol wtf
