Hey everyone , I was on the way to work thismorning

and this truck just pulls in front of me so input the foot to half throttle

and noticed my boost guage wasn't going to stop at 8psi ( low boost setting)

I backed off when it was around 12-15 psi

got a bit scared so I never reved it past 2.500 rpm

but when i took off at the lights usually I can hear little bit if spool but there was nothing

looked at the gauge to find out not making and pressure at all, thers still vacumme..

There was no pops bangs smoke rattles or anything :s confused

could the turbo shat itself?

Cheers everyone

Could it be cooler piping?

Not likely...When IC pipework comes apart, engine will idle but as soon as you give it any throttle, it will stall. Simple reason is air is not being drawn past AFM.

Also when IC pipework comes apart you normally hear a significant pop...

i got the shits with it pulled the bonnet turned the key

gave it a big rev and it just started working but all this misty shit came out of the bov

and its working fine now lol

im getting a new turbo nxt week so i just need it to run til then haha

cheers guys

i no lol

i shouldnt of done it but car is running fine

now :ermm:

i think it was a blockage of somthing i think a seal is gone in the turbo because there is excessive oil in the ic piping

new turbo nxt week just need to hold on this week!!
