Is ot possible to get the box out without taking the turbo dumps off?

I was going to remove them but the nuts at the bottom are all rusted and ceased,

I only have one more bolt on the top of the bellhousing to go, has anyone got the left Hand bolt from the right hanx side or am I attempting the impossible?

If you remove the cover/plate on the steering rack directly underneath where the exhaust crosses it you can tilt the engine down a bit further if you have aftermarket dumps/front pipes. Easier to get to said bolt. For top of box bolts use a couple of long extensions and run them up from near the gear stick- I use a universal joint adaptor straight off the socket to create a little more space to undo the bolts. Don't forget if you have a pull clutch to release the bearing before sliding it off. And don't forget it's bloody heavy.

Thanks guys. Yep big ass stainless dumps. Got the 1st one with the long extention and uni joint at the socket end.

Wil give the last one another go tomorrow after work as I wanna the wornout twin plate off for a rebuild.

Heavy!! That's an understatement.

Well we got the gearbox out with the dumps still on so thats a bonus, and another bonus (I Hope) was the twin plate I found in there.

Yeah its buggered and slipping but I'm hoping its rebuildable, Anyone heard of a ATS Carbon Twinplate?

Has two fully carbon plates that sit over a toothed hub on a Custom looking flywheel.
