Jun Runs A 9.22-second Pass

Many of you would have heard of Robert Marjan's "Dreamcrusher" R32 GTR with the numberplates JUN, well the car just ran a 9.22 @ 155 mph!!! Making it one of the fastest true street GTRs in the world.

Previous visits to the track for testing didn't see any numbers as the guys wanted to make sure the one run they would get would be worth it and spot on as the car has no cage and is a true street car with air conditioning and full interior. The car weighs 1690kg, making the time even more impressive!!!

The car was featured in Motive DVD #3 and I will post the feature up online tomorrow.

The car was built at tuned by CRD using Nitto Performance Engineering engine parts, a HKS turbo, OS-Giken sequential box and custom CRD suspesnion.

And for those who want to know, the car is driven on the street and thats what it was built for!

nope, it has extra sound deadening and a stereo system and all the brakes, turbo kit etc adds weight. No weight reduction at all.

Its an Aussie spec GTR on radial tires with full exhaust. Its how its driven on the street!!!

Their is no doubting that it is a nice car but street racing in canberra and street racing in south western sydney, it will only take 1 cop with half a clue and this car will not only be banned from WSID but banned from NSW Roads too.
