That's a really nice looking manifold.

Does it seem to work well running the single gate for a twin scroll?

I was told i would have boost control issues with how the wastegate was setup but I never had any problems. Im also running a 60mm gate

For $1200 its a pretty good thing

I just need to swap out my old Garrett T51r for something in the Precision range.....

By the looks of those pics, the 6 bob looks like a better design than the full race, yes the full race looks fancy but so what it gets covered in heat wrap and a turbo.

Look at all the weird straight sections and small bends on the full race, in the 2nd pic look at the tight bend on cyl 6.

Did u measure the runners to c if they are tuned length Joey? It's hard to think they are with all those little bits and peaces of pipe and small bends.

Na I didn't measure it mate, though I don't think there is "too much" difference between the runner length

I assume it would be harder to design and perfectly match everything on a manifold that runs two gates and is true twin scroll

I didn't heat wrap it either

Ok just ran up Aarons R33 GTR with built motor and type B Poncams with -5 turbo's. Also has adjusted cam gears.

We ran it up on 98 as we were about to change to id2000's and eflex but unfortunately the adaptors were incorrect.

Here is the overlay with my 6262 stock motor stock cams

No head work just the tybe b cams , not 100% sure on comp but would suggest close to std the engine was build when i bought it by boostworx in sa , i bought it from kris on sau who bought it from previous owner who had it build , although it only had 5k km in 4 years put on it ! ( it was just a hi octane rebuild kit done on it ) it was stock when i got it just the motor was done i did turbos , cams , etc , etc , etc , cant wait for e85 comparison :) oh and dont forget to get those addaptors Jez !

Which adaptor is it? The 10.5mm ones for the injectors to go into the rail?

Yeah Deano , Jez 's ones are metal ones they fit nice the plastic ones injectors came with are crap and didnt risk using them .

    • Sadly I can confirm if you are actually seeking to drift, you will quite easily spin up one wheel. Even if you're going in a straight line. I am not entirely sure of the metrics/terminology here but there's only a certain amount that the helical will actually spin both wheels. I've seen it on video with my own car where two lines of smoke switch over to just one after you really get in to it. Unlike with a clutch diff where you can keep your foot planted until the car regains grip, in my experience with the helical you want to be utilizing traction control allowing LIMITED slip or lifting (partially) when you start to spin up both tyres with a Nissan helical. Which makes them pretty sub optimal for drifting duty. That said... this is probably a helical on numbers alone. Just put the Kazz in
    • Let's just fix the problem by f**king the rest of the gearbox.
    • Unlikely, as per Greg's post. This is not helical diff behaviour unless one wheel is up off the ground. Shimming what? You don't "shim" a mechanical LSD. Probably not in the sense that you have heard of people "shimming" a diff. And the process that Nissan f**kwits call "shimming" a diff involves super-preloading a VLSD cartridge against the side of the diff to create a friction/wear point (in a place that it wasn't supposed to have one) to make the sloppy, useless, viscous diff into a hybrid viscous/mech abortion. In case it isn't clear, I consider the process to be stupid. Nike.
    • How much does the shifter move when the car is in gear with the engine off? If it is more than about 1cm you need to replace your shifter bush. Your shifts will just get crunchier, not faster, with a short shifter unless you also rebuild the whole box
    • I should video mine, will prob do it tomorrow    Between 1st and 3rd, you could fit another two gears. That is how loose and wobbly it is   horrible:(
