so many options

want to see full boost by 4,000 rpm - but not die out by 8500rpm

tried searching each one specifically for a 2.8 but no dice

What boost/power level? You might need something a bit fancier than a Precision if you want that combination

Update guys, The Old girl made 350kw 15 psi 430kw 24psi, 30psi made 436kw @ 6000rpm ignition prob the splitfires arent coping plus Im thinking the exhaust maybe holding it back 3.5 inch dump pipe 3.0 inch exhaust maybe to much back pressure we will check & see whats going on. Should be up around 500 plus in my eyes gate is vented straight out with screamer pipe. Need to iron out the little bugs then hopfully see some decent numbers.

Sorry which turbo and what motor? Thanks.

I'm deciding between a 6262 or a 6266 for a SR22VET circuit car.

The 6262 should make 450rwk but may struggle to hit 500rwk whereas the 6266 might hit the 500rwk but be approx 250-500rpm slower in spool. Boost levels would be around 24-30psi.

Should be a similar story for most, so you just have to decide what is more important. Outright response or a few extra kw up top?

I'm leaning for a few extra kw up top because you can never have enough power! and your tuner can always play around with cam timing to bring it on a bit earlier if need be. For the 6466 add another 30rwk or so and add another say 300rpm, and so on for each turbo thereafter.

With 450rwkw an extra 50kw isn't really going to help, you're going to be going from wheelspin to even more wheelspin.... I would just go the 6262!

Yes of course but 295 all around and decent aero should help with that.

However I doubt I would run that on the circuit at all but I might use it on the drag strip or runway... and if it only costs me 300rpm or so I am seriously considering it.

RB26 built big cams 6766 e85 see sig under post

Thanks. Can't see the sig on the phone. Yeah should make a lot more than that - 500rwk easy depending on boost level.

Mates old set up made 536rwk on 34psi with a 6466 T4 twin scroll 0.84 on a 2.0 SR20VE on the JEM dyno.

Here is his sig -

R32 GTR n1 block Mahle pistons, Eagle rods, Supertech Valves, 280 cams 11.5mm lift Hypertune plenum, Ported Head, 6766 CEA BB Precision Turbo just fitted, Awaiting Tune, 35psi & E85 up its gutz & see what happens.
