For realistic prices on manual V35 coupes, I don't advise spending under $25K landed and complied if you want something with genuine kms and at least a grade 4. Anyone who tells you they can get one for under $20K is blowing smoke out your a$$.

+1

I just put a deposit down on a 03 V35 Premium Manual with 70k on the clcok. It has brembos, leather, TV/Sat, and some lip spoilers (guess they are OEM) among other things.

The kms were genuine as I got them to show me the official import papers, don't know what you call them but they are in Japanese. The deal was 26k drive away with 5 year warranty thrown in.

I hope that's an ok price and not a ripper!

Congrats!! Enjoy the new car when do you pick it up??

Km's means nothing as long as the car is in good condition that's all that matters. 5 years warranty is nice.

Get the spark plugs checked to check for oil build up will be good to fix under the warranty.

so MasterChef

what is an average price then for a 300gt sedan ?

I guess the fact you can import nice examples from Japan for real cheap pretty much kills the local market somewhat.

Certainly seems that way.

Personally i would rather buy one already in Aus...i mean - there's members here that have imported cars and the cars were damaged in shipping and in the end they had to cop the damage themselves. There's also the wait. Buying something unseen and without a drive.

To me, i'd rather pay a few k more and be able to see it, get it inspected by whoever i want, have the car right now, test drive it and not have to worry about the car getting damaged during shipping etc. Though i'm sure if you get it done through one of the good importers like the Chef, then you minimise alot of that risk...just like he said though..sure you can bring one in for 20k, but what is it really gonna be like ?!?

For anyone looking to buy one, mine has all the factory fruit - manuals, brembos/lsd, sunroof, splash/pods, front lip, aero kit, premium, navi option, alarm + immob. Then goodies like i/e/tune, shocks/springs/sways, rays wheels... /end shameless plug
