A little while back my speedo just stopped working and than came back on a few minutes later. when it stops working the speed revs and temp gauge shut down and sometimes the km clock does to. ive had this problem for a while now. Can anyone please help me?. Any advice will be appreciated thaks.

My speedo doesn't work occasionally... usually after a little while it just flicks up to the speed I'm going. One time it didn't move for like 5 minutes so being annoyed at it I tapped the plastic in front of the speedo and it flicked right up straight away. So now each time I just give it a little flick. =p

Your problem is probably a little different because you said everything else doesn't seem to work. Me posting my little story probably didn't help very much...

No thats fine i can use any adivice i can find. i tried tapping the cluster but i wouldnt make a difference. I took to the mechanic who put in all my mods cause the problem happened after i got my computer. They couldnt fix it though. The took the whole cluster out and all.

I'm having that exact problem with my r33! any luck with fixing it? mine has been getting worse, dropping out more often and getting harder to 'flick' back up! I did find that pushing in the trip button on the speedo gets it working again too. i've pulled the cluster out and tightened screws, wires etc, but same issue always comes back. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this would be great, very annoying problem!

Were having this problem too.. albeit on a 2001 elgrand (well at least its got a VQ35)

have been suggested to replace voltage regulator &/or have it bench tested by a cluster specialist

please could someone suggest a reputable cluster specialist.. we're near ashfield nsw

thanks in advance
