Yep! This grumpy old man fell off a ladder on Sunday. My left heelbone is now in 9 separate pieces. I will be non weight bearing on crutches for next 6 weeks maybe longer, then partial weight bearing for another 6 to 10 weeks. Ortho cheerfully tells me it will be around 18 months befor i'm walking normally again. Happy New Year Jay. Move to Boonah is postponed.

Those guys who have used my place for repairing or working on their cars....it is still available, but, I will be pretty much only able to offer advice, no hands on stuff for the near future.

Well I didn't expect you to do anything that serious in lieu of your next track surprise.

Sorry to hear man....stuff like that can be real depressing. My first time on crutches lasted 3 months...but doing tricks on them in front of your friends gets old pretty quick....

looks like i will miss the first 2 or 3 level 2 meets this year.....unless.....maybe........what do you reckon.........my old RangeRover ...has a 4 speed auto.....how would it go through the esse's....and how about turn 6??.....maybe not eh!

jay remember if you need someone to take your car and burn it around the block to blow the cobwebs out of it i am always available.!!I can put on a beard and turn up to the track in your car too, if you still want to be seen there.

Bad luck, nothing worse than being unable to drive your car...I broke my foot once and it was hell. I hope all goes well for you.

666DAN I'm going back out there tomorrow with my 2 boys and a friend( it happened at our house outside Boonah) Ican identify the ladder that did it and they are going to give it a good kicking for me....but what the h*ll...if you want to join in ....the more the merrier.

The saving grace of the thing is ....I don't have to have any surgery or even wear a cast.... which is great news in this hot sticky weather
