I recently installed my z32 maf. I have a safc so I set it up to 2 in and 4 out. I drove it and it started to break up around 12+ psi on the factory turbo. I checked my timing and it showed negative timing. At the time my car was idling at 1000-1100 rpms. I reset the timing to 800-900 rpms and rechecked it. Its now reading 5 degrees(mark to the right of TDC mark)

I have checked the mechanical timing and its good. I also checked to see if the key was still in the cas which it was...

Does anyone have any input? Ill be ordering nistune in like 3 weeks but want my car to run good before hand..

thanks

From the sounds of it you have just set the timing about 10degrees advanced. To properly check the timing you must do it with a scan tool as RB25's have idle ignition control.
