Unknown Sensor ?

Hi guys,

was fitting a front mount to my r33 S2 yesterday and when reloctaing the horns noticed directly beneath them towards the bottom of the radiator was a small plastic "something", sensor?, i don't know. it has a wire that can be clipped in and out of it that shares the same wire loom as the horns. it is mounted on a thin metal bracket that i had to bend out of the way a little for the front mount fittment.

Does anyone know what it is, what it does, or whatever, and more importantly, does it matter that i moved it slightly.

i found a similar thing on my car, turned out to be the ambient temp sensor for my climate control, but i doubt that's what it would be for an R33...

pretty sure its the outside temp sensor for your air con if its the one im thinking of

thanks for your help, a mechanic mate said the same thing today. for the climate control we are thinking!
