hi guys i'm hoping that someone here can help me. i recently installed a blitz spec s ebc to my R33 i installed it exactly as instructions were telling me. I ran the hose from before the throttle body to the IN on the solonoid then from the OUT to the top port of my wastegate (external) then from the side port to my compressor on the turbo. firstly it ran s@#t house it boosted straight 15psi probably keep going if it weren't for the fact that it started brake down and by adjusting the boost controller it made no difference couldn't lower it even with it turned off it wouldn't run 9psi like it was before installed it. I then took the little allen key bolt out of top of the wastegate for now that has put my car back to running 9psi as it was before i installed the ebc but i stil can't wind the boost up on my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi mate, it should be run like this. From the compressor to the IN of the solenoid, then OUT of the solenoid to the wastegate.

Just a question, how many vacuum ports does your wastegate have? 1 or 2.

If it has 2, use the lower one, not the one on the top of the wastegate.

hi there, Unfortunately i still have this problem it's been hooked up as whistle stated above in doing that i get 19psi now and then break down doesn't matter if the controller is turned off or on i still have no control over it has anybody had this problem that could tell me how to over come it could it be a buggered solonoid ? etc etc

You may have installed it wrong.

That s the link for the install manual.

It says the top port is to be left open as it needs to bleed of boost in order to control it.

Makes sense to me.

Also have you left your standard solenoid plugged in?

Also make sure you have the head unit switched to WG for external wastegate.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help guys i'l tackle it through the week. just wondering as i run the bov on compressor side could that contribute to the problem ? just that the way whistle has described it make sense because thats how i've seen bleed valves running. if not i will set it up as i 1st had it which is as shown in the picture because i did actually have the bleed blocked off.

ok guys took awhile but i got off my ass and done this. i ran the hoses as shown in the diagram from the instrunction manual and left the top of solonoid open for it to bleed which i never did the 1st time and it seems to be working properly so thanks for help and info guys was much appreciated.
