I've buzzed the local shops, nothing yet, but left my details.

The cops said they don't have the ability to see if there are any pulsars registered in the area. He didn't seem terribly impressed with my detective skills. He seemed less impressed when I asked if I could have his authority to ask vicroads for the information.

It's looking pretty dim, but at least it was insured, so it's only the excess we have to worry about. Still shits me though. They banged the rear wheel hard enough that the chassis rail is bent, and may need to be re-engineered. I almost hope they write it off, as it's resale value is now bugger all if they repair it.

Plus, I'm kind of partial to an impreza as a second car.

Sounds like it could be written off. I wouldn't want to drive it again of the rail is f**ked. Fixed or not it will be hard to sell again.
