Apexi Power Fc Vs Haltech Sport 2000

Hi all im looking to upgrade the ECU in my car it is a GTR34 now the main question is

is haltech really worth the extra $1000+

Apexi FC's are around 1000ish on ebay

While Haltech is 2300 from shops

Anyone know where to get haltechs for a good price also btw ?

depends what you want to do. For a road car it's hard to go past a PFC, as there so bloody cheep. I've got a PFC in my road GTR, and a Haltech PS2000 in my race car. The Haltech is a heaps newer ECU than the PFC, Personly i'd go the Haltec Platinum Pro (not sure if it works on a R34 though), as they are cheaper, and have knock control.

I'd go to your local Haltech dealer and ask for a price, as i've pretty sure there has been a price drop.

For a street car - the PFC is the best bang-or-buck. You simply plug it in and way you go for a tune. They are so common now that most tuners have a wealth of experience in them as well so you are pretty safe. Cheaper and effective.

not so serious very minor mods titanium exhaust might add a hks ev6 and a power fc
