I've got an R31, and soonish I'll be dropping in a N/A RB30DE, I plan to use it for circut racing and a daily as well

I've been thinking of converting it to AWD using parts from an R32

Anyways, does anyone think that this would be possible or worth it?

feel free to share extra thoughts on it

how fast do you want to spend?

Easiest way would probably be to weld in a 4wd front subframe, gtr or gts4. And the front upright knuckle thing, mod the tunnel to fit the transfer box.

You could probably keep the live rear axle if you could find the same ratio as the front diff you use.

Do a search on google for full race motorsports, they make turbo manifolds, The owner Geoff, has done a s14 with gtr running gear. I believe it was just a bit of cutting and welding, but the s14 is closer to the r32/33/34 chassis than the r31

The cost of converting the R31 to AWD will easily surpass the cost of an R32 GTS-4 maybe even an R32 GT-R.

If you need a 4 door R32 GTS4 could be a viable option.

But if your budget is huge - It will be definately different.

not worth it. will probably only be slower around a track with the poor old NA RB30 (even with a twin cam head) dragging around all that extra weight. Far better ways to spend that money if your goal is to make it faster on the track
