Just tried to pm you but it's full. Yeah send me his details if you can. The guy that tried to install it today (onsite auto electrician type guy) borked up my central locking somehow. At this point he gave up (and didn't charge me) because he wasn't sure what happened. I think it's to do with the fact that he tried putting the new one in with the old one in place, which is how I asked him to do it.

I spoke to another auto electrician and he said that wouldn't work because they'd interfere with each other. So I need to get the old one removed.

If the original guy damaged something he said he's prepared to pay for it to be fixed. He can also speak to the new installer to tell him what exactly he's done so far.
