My engine cracked an oil pump a few months ago, and ive recently just had it back from the engine builder.

I removed the engine quite a while ago, and cant for the life of me figure out where some of these plugs go.

The engine is an rb30det (r32 head) in a Cefiro, but should be pretty similar to anything r32 or perhaps even r33. Any advice on what goes where would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Oh i also managed to break the power steering plug, however my understanding is that the light just wont work, which im not worried about.

1st picture doesn't work.

2nd picture (& 3rd if they're the same), if you mean the black/red wires with eyelets on the end, look like earths for something.

Pretty sure they could be alternator by looks of it.... Check with a test-light to see if they are earths & wait until someone confirms but.

The last picture is definitely an earth strap from turbo-manifold. Normally goes to a bracket on strut tower which also has a little silver box on it (can't remember what that silver box is called or does now, something to do with fuel pump earthing I think)

2nd one is the alternator earth, you connect with a pissy little bolt into the threaded hole on the body of the alternator above the positive stud. don't get them the wrong way around it makes sparks when the engine starts
