Hey Tim, I'd be interested to hear what's your history with the car.

I navved for Benny (Marlin) in it at Targa Tas in 2008, and prior to that I used to drool over it in the hands of Jason White.

Im sure Racepace has done an awesome job with it and I look forward to seeing it in action, you will have to bring it down here eventually.

For those that don't know Serg (which will be most people outside of SAUVIC) - he is not a competition nut - but more of a genuine motorsport (and especially GT-R) enthusiast.

He won't be asking Chris to find every last KW - but he will present a magnificant vehicle and will bring it home that way too.

Yeah understand that he's extremely passionate about the R's after speaking with Serge a few times on the phone :D

I was referring more to the large drop in grunt the car copped when it came of VP fuel onto 98 (having said that it would no doubt benefit from a really good tune). It would be a lot more fun to drive with some power, regardless of where you hope to place :D

Yeah I have to say my car sucks to drive now with the 3" and N1's. I haven't had a chance to do much testing with this set-up but I might have to consider the E85 route going forwards if I want the car to be fun again.

Ohh this is interesting. I didn't realise Targa high country was in Vic just assumed is was yet another event I would want to do that required a boat ride.

My car may finally be ready by Nov... would be the perfect debut.

I'd just supplement the factory tank with a feed from a secondary gravity fed tank mounted somewhere suitable. It's not that hard :)

Have a look at Coad's dry sump tank for inspiration

have a look in the back of Dave Ayrers's R33 400R, he run's a 20 litre surge tank which allowed him

the extra fuel to change to E85

Ben, what sort of power did you run with the car?

MPC Quoted me 368AWKW prior to the event. I think their dyno reads high as it felt like an honest 290. I think Navvy Tim would concurr? what do you have now mate?
