Talk about schooling. in my old car, I used to use a spark plug to jam the nozzle when I was filling up petrol.. this meant I didnt have to stand there holding the Trigger.

There! a real other use for a spark plug!

Allright dudes! I've got a price back from Nissan here in NZ regarding the rocker cover & seals.

Firstly, the seals are not replacable, as we have discussed, and torqueing the bolts down will probably make no difference as they only need about 10Nm.

The part is ex-japan (of course) and takes about 7 days to get to NZ, now the good bit - it will cost NZ$550.

It does however come with the gasket , but this is for the part only, labour is extra . Damn!

If you went down this track you may wish to install yourself...not hard to do!

I dont understand why the seals aren't replacable?? Did Nissan think the seals would last forever?
