Dicky Gauges

I have just noticed a problem with my 32 GTR's gauges - their readings seem incorrect when the headlights are turned on!

This is mostly effecting oil temp and oil preassure but voltage also seems to be affected as well.

What happens is when the lights are turned on, their readings go up. Oil preassure goes up by about 2 - 4 bar and hangs around the 8 bar mark and oil preassure goes up to around the half way mark. Turn the lights off again and they return to normal, believeable readings.

I have no idea what is causing this. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Fixed it now, for anyone who might encounter this issue in the future the problem was bad earths.

The engine bay had been recently painted and we had to run a tap through the thread to get rid of the paint in there.

Intrestingly enough this was also causing the AWD not to work, which has also now been fixed.
