hi guys as per the title , i have a pfc d-jetro for my r33 gtr, i just wanted to know has anyone installed one of these into there car themselves and if so HOW and WHERE did u mount the 2xsensors?

i got the instruction manual but can not read jap to save my life. but the pictures show that u have to dismantle the plenunm and and tap 1/8 barbs into throttle #3 and #4, which is easy enough.....

but then i was told by someone else who runs a pfc d-jetro in there rb25det powered s15 track car that all u need to do is just find a vacuum line and plug the 2 sensors into that.?

so which one? first option is easy enough but if option 2 also works it would save a hell of a lot of time and be a whole lot easier too.

anyone??

pictures would be great too.

cheers collin

from memory the map sensor should plug where #3 and #4 are to get a good even reading across the plenum

there is a known gotcha with map sensors and individual throttle body setups so it's important where they are placed

i believe this is why the apexi document instructs you to install them at pos #3 and #4 instead of just "anywhere".

if you install it "anywhere" you could just run one map sensor and double up the signal

as the PFC will simply take an average from both anyway, but i believe its the best having two sensors in the plenum as per instructions vs botched setup
