Summary Of Forum Issues - 05/04

To try and stop the flood of posts/threads i've created one to rule them all.

Problem

#1 - FireFox thread creation.

Known issue, intermittent as some users are perfectly fine. Appears to be a issue with IPB.

#2 - Timeout when posting/creating new threads.

This is a known issue since the migration. Something is conflicting and it is being investigated.

Testing has been going on for a week to workout the exact cause.

#3 - Email notifications

Currently down and not working. Has not worked for approx 5 days.

Christian/Shan & Co are working on the issues. We appreciate if you guys can just bear with everything until we get it sorted out.

re #2 guys. It's wierd, I get 5 minutes load time, UNLESS while waiting for it to load I click refresh, then works immediately.

Just wanted you to know that.

Ye it's a timeout... issue is though when you hit refresh, it's posting twice.

It's sending the post/thread data, however the delay in returning that to the browser is the issue

2 and 3 work for me never had issues with #1

one issue im getting is no bold italic html ra ra on the add reply screens, whether is be quick reply or add reply

quickly recheck your subscriptions... make sure they're all set to the setting you want. just in case it's that.

theyre all delayed notification as intended.

would it make a difference if the thread was subscribed to whilst the emails werent coming through? (wouldnt have thought so)

email notification of this reply did come through fine
