Diy For Coil Pack Cleaning

Is there a diy on cleaning coil packs?

I was told to clean them with co contack cleaner, but I do know what part to clean?

And do the coil packs come apart some how? I mean do the boots come off some how?

there isnt a diy for this as noone does it . what is cleaning the coils going to do ? why ? pull them out and wipe with a rag ? look at the changing spark plugs diy and itll become rapidly apparent

I have a rough idle, and I was told by dr drift to clean the coil packs and clean the valley were the coils are

aac might need a degrease / clean

already done the aac, the valley is dirty and greasy so i guess the coils are too

Having dirty coil packs could possibly lead to the spark travelling a different way and not through the spark plug.

It's a pretty odd thing to affect idle, but i guess it could.

But i have seen it on a Lancer where the spark was going down the side of the spark plug/ along the rubber boot. Car would cruise fine, but would hesitate under acceleration. This is evident if you find a black line of carbon down the side of the plug.
