did a boost leak test today with a mate and found out air was leaking around the seal plate bolts. i tighten the bolts up but there is still one bolt that leaks. do i replace the bolt?

would this leak somehow damage the turbo

it a r33 highflow done 5 thousand k's

Put some black silicon on the thread.

^^^ This.

That's an odd place to leak, and I doubt you'd have much air leaking from there anyway.

You wouldn't even be able to measure a leak that small, let alone notice a difference in power :D

look for more leaks in cooler piping etc......

Oh an BTW, that wont damage your turbo at all if left, but take the comp housing off and fix it anyway...

found most of my leak from the cooler piping hoses when i did the boost leak test.. tightened the clamps and no more leak.

only from the bolts that i showed in the pic.

i tightened all 3 top bolts but the bottom bolt (in the pic ) still leaks.

will do the test again since i only did the test at 5 psi ( maybe try 7) which took a while to hit

the car feel abit better then before but the power feel linear compare to the stock turbo. (im guessing there still a leak somewhere)

i'm running stock actuator with the solenoid removed 5 psi( have a hks adjustable actuator as well)

stock airbox with apexi panel filter

full exhaust

return flow front mount

safc2 not tuned

z32

gtr34 pump

my plans where to find all leaks and get it tuned with the safc2 (for now) and save funds for injectors and a nistune
