Rb20det Ls1 Coil Pack Conversoin

hey guys and girls...

i been trying to find on how to do the ls1/ ls6 coil pack setup on a rb20det....

i tried the serch junction thingy.. but just kept coming 'no matches found'...

so if anyone could tell me or put a link so i can find out how to do it.. and wat would i need to do and upgrade to get it all to work...

You will need 3/4 of a set of LSx coils, some wire and a solding iron / crimping bits and some plug leads.

Once you have those bits, it magics itself together. BAM, you have instant RB20 LS1 coilpack conversion

i have 8 ls1 coils packs

heaps of wire...soldier and iron

and lots of plugs and stuff..

i wanna no how to wire it all in...

I remember this was something I was going to do when my coils gave up, still havent tho.

IIRC there are pins A,B,C,D

A = Black, Ground

B = Brown, Reference low (ground this one also)

C = Different colors on each connector, (Ignition signal from ecu)

D = Pink, Power in (+12V)

I was going to ground Black wires at the coil mount and the Brown wires through the original coil grounds.

For the ignition signal wires, these are the wires that go to the ignitor from the ecu. You don't use the ignitor with LS1 coils!
