50mm Widebody Legal?

is a full widebody legal? its 50mm wide but original guards are underneath..

From what I've heard if metal underneath is removed, no its not legal cause your losing structural integrity...

But alot of cars have them these days especially on front guards

Spoke to a friend of mine who's a cop its a very grey area, some cops will bust you for it others dont really care about it...

It should depend on the quality of the wheel fitment you select

As long as its a quality job on the fenders with no structural alterations I don't think there'd be too many issues getting it engineered. Without that then you will be at the mercy of the officers "opinion" which is unpredictable.
