Airbox

Hey, i just bought and fitted a airbox the other day for my pod filter, only problem is the airbox isnt really made to keep the heat out, so was wondering what would be a good idea to keep the heat out, should i put foam in it or something? and secondly it looks as though not enough air can get in because of the airbox is covering everything, is that true?
