Price For R35

just planing to upgrade from R34 GTR to R35

anyone know what their current price tag ?

2009 used aus spec

2010 brand new or demo

and normally drive away price.

anyone can provide info will be helpful.

hate to state the obvious, tried using carsales.com.au ? or calling your local nissan dealer ?

new ~$175k i think

but rrp and asking from dealer prices is always different to what ppl end up paying.

if carsales provide dealer buy direct price

reason for asking is home work and prepare and compare.

Used 2009 ones have been going from $134k upwards, asking price is about 160ish but they'll take $150K, most of the dealers are finding it hard to move used ones.

I Dont know what they cost in Australia. In Norway where i live they cost about 338307 AUD. Insane

Yeah I've heard stories about the cost of living in Norway. I thought we were bad compared to the USA.

You do have the best healthcare in the world though apparently :)

ive been seeing drive away new prices @ $185ish.

Used 2009 ones have been going from $134k upwards, asking price is about 160ish but they'll take $150K, most of the dealers are finding it hard to move used ones.

I've also heard that while sales have been above expectations overall, they haven't exactly been flying out the door. I suppose the GFC didn't really help but whilst I know it's not a car for everyone, I don't understand why more people aren't buying what is surely one of the bargains of the century.

hmm...about $85k for race rally import from japan for a 3 year old car. nissan aus are doing OK for themselves adding $100k for a new one.

nothing like a monopoly for keeping prices up....and interesting to note that the prices went up when the yen rose , but did not go down when the yen fell and import duty reduced.

I was at the nissan dealer today

$188500 including all on roads for a 2010 base car + options

Where do they get off on that price? What are your options you mention? When I bought it was $148800 for the base car, ($4K more for premium) plus $10K dealer delivery and $6K for stamp duty and rego. Total around $165K. Then there was a $7K price rise and then another $3K when the MY10 model came out. All up another $10K. This would push the base to $175K on road and the premium to $179K. Silver paint would add some more but not $9K! Sounds like they're getting a bit carried away when in 12 months the car has gone up $20K on road...

Not sure, atm i still cant afford one realistically for a year or so, so it was more of an enquiry. They did let me test drive it though (grey premium spec demo, my10 with 623km on the clock), my what a car! Makes my 34 look like a micra. The dealer did say they have a waiting list! hence the premium over sticker price. Have to remember it is a supercar after all and paying more than the base sticker isnt really uncommon for super cars.

Id happily pay 190k for one tbh, ive tested alot of cars and allthough its "only a nissan" its one hell of a car. I can really see why all the reviews said it was the bargin supercar.

It may not be illegal to charge over RRP but I know Nissan Aust would have something to say about it! The way the dealers screwed us at the start was by making the dealer delivery $10K! Nissan couldn't stop them doing this and the dealer's justification was that they needed to "tool up" their workshops for the GT-R. It was just another $10K cream on top of their margins. I'd love for you to have asked the dealer for the breakdown of the pricing because short of him having a DD of $20K I cannot see how he could arrive at that price. Unless you're in WA of course and your stamp duty is sky high. The quote must always show the car at RRP plus DD plus rego and Stamp duty etc etc otherwise they'd be going against Nissan Aust policy of not selling over RRP....... And this info was from the dealer's own mouth when he indicated that some people were prepared to pay $20K over sticker just to be the first kid on the block with one. He said they couldnt entertain the thought however appealing it may have been. I guess they always could have just charged $30K DD! I mean Nissan let them get away with $10K didn't they? Still ludicrous, just more ludicrous....

I paid mine Super Silver Premium from Werribee Nissan, Victoria delivered in May 2009 as follow:

Premium R35: $ 152,800.00

Super Silver Paint: $ 3,000.00

VicRoads Rego: $ 9,136.00

Dealer Margin: $ 9,612.00 (Including vehicle delivery charges)

Total: $ 174,548.00

Further breakdown in VicRoads Rego as follow:

TAC Premium: $ 378.00

Stamp Duty: $ 37.80

Reg Fee: $ 178.00

Plate Fee: $ 52.20

Stamp Duty: $ 8,490.00

Total: $ 9,136.00

I ordered the car in Nov 2008. Hope this will help.

Which dealer was that, Norfolk Island? You can get a Gunmetallic Grey (extra cost) for $180K on the road from Col Crawford Lifestyle Cars in Brookvale, Sydney. Ask for Alex :D

PS. What options...floor mats or a tankful of fuel?

Because for that price you could buy a 2 year old DB9 Aston Martin, A near new BMW M6, a 2 year old Maserati Gran Turismo, an assortment of brand new Porsches, Various New AMG's, A 6 month old Audi R8 V8 version, Add another $40k and you get yourself a 4 year old Lambo Galardo, Add $50k and you can get yourself a 2006 F430 thats done less than 5000km, a decent boat, a sizeable deposit on property, hire a high class escort for a year, ect ect ect....

There are millions of reasons why people arn't buying the "bargain of the year" and it has nothing to do with the Global Financial Crisis. The people affected by the GFC arn't really the people that can afford to put nearly $200k towards a car anyway. During the GFC sales of Exotics went up by 300% and these sales are still up, whereas sales of average and economy and prestige cars went down and have only been artificially been pushed up last month by most of the big rental car companies updateing their fleets last month.

Also ive seen 4 R35's in sydney over the last year go to reposession auctions, so the sales of R35's are artificially higher than they should be because people who can't afford to buy them can somehow find finance to buy them... go figure???

New Car ---) used car

Practially all high dollar cars lose money over the 1st few years, unless they are really really special, and 250k is still alot different to 190k. Forgot to mention, a GTR is faster than almost all those cars. Its still a bargin.

Your not wrong about the finances though, a few too many people have over extended themselves. Repayments are $750/week give or take

    • Much less twat-tastic. CF wheels are too garish for civilised use.
    • From there, as the manual says....assembly is the reverse of disassembly, no tricks worth mentioning Much better (for me)
    • In my case, the standard wheel I had was in good condition but the buttons had more wear, so I swapped them across from the original wheel from the car. The plastic rear cover is held on by 4 tabs, and once the wiring is removed you can get access to 2 screws on each side the hold the buttons in From there I just swapped the wiring over. What was interesting is the standard style wheel is 2.0kg but the carbon fibre one is 50% heavier at 2.9kg. It even has a weight inside the wheel at the top to make up for some sort of imbalance in the design. weird
    • Once the airbag is off, to remove the steering wheel.... Undo the 2 plugs into the clock spring, and the horn connector from it's clip. Hit the 19mm nut with a rattle gun (preferably) or if you don't' have one, you probably want an assistant to hold the wheel in place while you use a breaker bar to undo the nut Then, screw the nut back on 3 turns, and pull the wheel sharply towards you. If that doesn't work hit it medium force with a rubber mallet on either side, or possible behind if you can get there. If that all fails (it shouldn't!) you might need a steering wheel puller
    • So, to next task....the carbon fibre steering wheel was either an expensive factory option or a chinesium special. Either way, I don't like either the flat bottom or thick ring style, so it had to go So...to remove the steering wheel.... First, disconnect battery negative and stomp on the brake pedal for a few seconds. Then, remove the small circular covers on each side of the wheel's rear surround to uncover the airbag clips. You need to push something like a flat bladed screw driver through, to push the steel clip inwards and pull the side of the airbag forward. Once you've done the easy side, same on the centre console side. You can see the tab you are shooting for circled in red Then, disconnect the horn spade connector and for the yellow airbag plug you need to get something small under the black locking tab to pop it out, then the connector releases......airbag is off
