Electrical Motor Noise?

Hey guyz,

My r33 has a weird Electrical motor noise. Similar to that of the fuel pump when u put ur car ignition in ON position.

It only comes after i start the engine and press the accelerator. even if just press like 100revs, just a little.

happens everytime i do that but it goes away in 3 seconds.

what is it?

i dont remember any of my other cars making this noise.

Climate control - self adjusting / doing something in the background.

but the noise is coming from outside. near the rear wheels. the climate control is turned off.

The Attesa system makes the noise you describe on my car, kinda high pitched and ends with a click. I never really gave it any thought.

Does the sound come from the rear wheel area?

it's normal operation, either way you go about it. mine does it everytime, and even while I drive. I have no sound deadening so it's pretty easy to hear. google will help you out with the types systems offered on Nissans.

oh nice, haha. well we both have that equipment in our car. maybe HICAS, I haven't touched it yet, as I have yet to address either HICAS or ATTESA. look under your car on the drivers side behind the rear wheel. you will see all the stuff that is making that noise.

What am i looking for? is it like a Pump or something?

I dont think its HICAS. My previous Skyline had HICAS but never made this sound.
