Nightcrawler
Welcome to the forums Maalik, but you need to note a few things: - your thread title is stupid and mentions nothing regarding what your post is actually about, and what you need to find out. - this topic has been covered dozens of times before - and you would surely realise your best bet is going to a Skyline inclined mechanic who will quickly tell you what is/isn't ok on your car. - ALWAYS think VERY carefully about if you really need to start a new topic, or whether it has been covered before - ALWAYS use the search function - you will find most answers you need. Most importantly, there are a list of topics at the top of the SA forums which will help you with most questions. If you need to borrow a part, post in the 'wanted to borrow' thread. If you want to know about where to buy parts of what workshops to go to, consult the appropriate thread .... dark.sky
Just remember that the steering wheels are different between the S1 and S2 R32 despite looking the same. One has the hicas lugs 10-4 the other is 12-6. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/316721-nissan-skyline-r32/#findComment-5182514 Share on other sites

This is correct, my wheel is for a zenki GTS-T/GTR... the steering wheels are the same between the gts-t/gtr except the horn button has a R for a GTR and an S for a GTS Condition of wheel is good. Not great but not crap either. -D PS Dion - I wish I knew that 2 years ago before I spent ages doing research and getting nowhere lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/316721-nissan-skyline-r32/#findComment-5182597 Share on other sites
Weezy
When did S1 and S2 change over? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/316721-nissan-skyline-r32/#findComment-5182609 Share on other sites
dark.sky
When did S1 and S2 change over? Dont know what month, but generally speaking 89-90-91 is S1 and 92-93 is S2. For some useless trivia: S1 and S2 have different headlights, front bumper (GTS), instrument cluster, gear/radio surround, hoodlining material, carpet, seat trim, different cam cover (RB20), different size bolts here and there. Apparantly tail lights are different too, but I cant confirm. Dohmar, the "S" on the GTSt steering wheel is the Skyline logo. Weezy
Thats exactly what I wanted to know - I have a 92 GT-R and need a drivers side headlight, knowing there are different projector types is a great bit of information, cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/316721-nissan-skyline-r32/#findComment-5182634 Share on other sites

Alot of GTSt's already have it anyway such as mine, but something to watch. Yeah I knew that ;P have seen it before after all instrument cluster is a bitch of a thing as I bought a carbon backing plate for the gauge cluster only to find the indicator and high beam lights are in different locations, still got that for sale actually if anyone with an s2 is keen ;P Radio surround has a textured/bumpy feel on the s2's, gloss black on the s1's... would be good to maybe put a thread together in one of the forums listing any known changes between the zenki and kouki 32's... -D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/316721-nissan-skyline-r32/#findComment-5182701 Share on other sites

Dohmar
zenki and kouki converted to english please? lol whats that mean zenki = early era (89-91) kouki = late era (92-93) -D Edit - fyi they use this zenki/kouki terminology with all jap cars, not just nissans - places like RHD japan use zenki/kouki for their product listings (aka boss kits - like dion said, they have hicas sensors in different places so it makes a difference when you're buying aftermarket gear) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/316721-nissan-skyline-r32/#findComment-5182756 Share on other sites
