hey guys - this shouldn't be too big of a problem i think...

basically... a31 cefiro.. most / all power window componentry is replaced or new... except today while driving i was winding up my passenger and passenger rear windows and they stopped mid way... i thoguht hmm weird mustn't have done it right pressed it again and they went up

it did this like 2 maybe 3 times

by this stage i'd recognised it's obviously a connectivity / electrical fault not a motor fault... if it was motor they wouldn't work AT ALL not just stop half way then start again

but now my windows will not come down whatsoever now all three non-driver windows are stuck "up" and won't come down... but driver window works perfectly on both the "auto down/up" switch and the regular switch

but the other three windows will not work from either the driver master control, or their own respective controls...

WHAT WOULD BE CAUSING THIS!?!?!

please tell me it's only a fuse somewhere... i'm a bit of an auto electrical noob so please help me!

i haven't got time to check cefiro forums all day so if you reply or just wanna send me an sms regarding this plleleeeasseeee let me know on 0404 756 446 thanks for the advice or help in advance guys

Definately not fuse related.

Check the connection on the back of the drivers side control.

If that fails, bring your car around and we'll try resoldering the board.

Almost every eletrical fault I've had in a Nissan has been to do with bad solder joints done by the machines in the factory.

cheers guys sorry for the late reply - like i said don't check back here often LOLLLLLL.

okay so can one of you help me out? i'll make you dinner. no kidding.

haha

or buy you a beer or three - beer you never tried before - really good beer.
