exactly which engines have turbos in them?

i see types like GTS, GTST, GTR, GT4, GTS25 and i wonder, which of these actually contain turbos?

ok non turbo

GTS and i think GT4

turbo's are

GTS-T, GTR has 2 and GTS25

hope that helps a little

im not 100% on the GT4 though

ok thanks heaps also, with the engine itself, if it has a T on it at the end, does that mean turbo? for example: RB25DET

yes your correct

ill use a RB20DET for example

RB - engine code name

20 - displacement .... 2.0 litre

D - twin cam (dual cam)

E - EFI

T - Turbo

or on the GTR (rb26dett

TT - twin turbo

check the engine number to figure out what engine it is ...

for a RB20 there are

RB20E, RB20DE, RB20DET

R32 - turbo: GTR, GTS-t and GTS-4. RB20DET and RB26DETT

R32 - N/A: GTS, GTE and GXi RB20DE and RB25DE (and CA18i)

R33 - turbo: GTR and GTS-t. RB25DET and RB26DETT

R33 N/A: GTS and GTS-4. RB25DE and RB20E

R34 - turbo: GTR and GT-T. RB25DET NEO and RB26DETT

R34 - N/A: GT, GT-4, GT-V, GT-X. RB20 and RB25 NEO

For the record, D = Double Overhead Cam, not twin cam/dual cam.

V engines such as VE, VG and VQ come in DE and quad cam.
