So i just got my own R33 a couple of days ago and noticed that nobody has done this yet (somebody had done it for the 180sx i had before)

In light of that and the fact i had nothing better to do, i recreated the fuse panel sticker in english.

It is also the same dimensions as the original sticker, so you could just stick this over the top and never have to worry about searching for a translation again.

(if you don't know how to print it at 100% scale, just put the pic into a word doc and print, should be the right size already.)

There is also an inverted version available, for those who prefer to read black text on white background.

Fuse Box Sticker

If anyone wants the same thing done for another car (R32, R34, Alfa 33, Other...) just PM me.

i paid $11 or $12 from memory, could have stolen the picture and printed it out but then i would have had to of gone and bought some sort of sticker paper and then a printer or gone to a friends and used there printer, in the end it was either hours of running around or 30 seconds + $12 and it was delivered to my door, maybe you like f**king around and wasting time to save a couple of dollars but i have better things to do.

Print + 4 little bits of blutac == Win in 2mins.

I know some people like to have it looking far more professional, but for the average person, how often do you look at the fuse panel?

I guess im not that much of a tight arse.

You have to be a tight arse to save money?

So when you go shopping you choose the most expensive of everything because you don't want to be a 'cheap arse' and save some money?

If it was like $2, i probably would have taken the Ebay option, but I did it because it's giving something back to the community. I am trying to learn Japanese, so this was just a fun exercise for me that had an extra benefit to other people. I'm sorry i like helping people (o.0)?

I'm not saying everyone HAS to print out the one i created. Unless you are the Ebay seller and you are crying because of hurt sales (which i doubt there would be much), i say why are you complaining?

sometimes its worth spending a few extra dollars to do the job the first time and save a lot of hassle, as i also mentioned earlier i didnt have a printer at the time, but even now i would just buy the sticker.

Im not an ebay seller and where exactly do you see me complaining?

Well i assumed the moment you resorted to swearing you must have been rather annoyed at something.

And i save money where i can, sticker Vs. paper for a fuse panel isn't system critical.

If i were buying say a turbo, then i know to stay away from Ebay for starters and the 'too good to be true' rule applies.

Also, thank you very much for your continued replies, i now have over 10 posts :D

Not system critical so who cares..

Try not to shoot those that try to help anyone regardless of cost.

Sounds like someone has got their period....

It's not critical so who cares? Seems you do otherwise you would not have bother posting anything but of course you think that everyone needs to hear what you have to say.

And if I had my period you would have known about it

tiberis,

is there anyway we could talk you into translating the characters on the main fuse and relay box in the engine bay and maybe the characters on the sunvisor on the drivers side. been wanting that for the last 10 yrs.

cheers

i'd be more than happy to give it a shot.

i can do the main fusebox/ relay box for the engine bay for a R33 easy enough seeing as thats what i have. If you wanted it for another model i would need 1 (or many) photo(s) of the panel to translate.

likewise, the prev owner for my car (who i'm finding out was a bit of a twat) has ripped off the notice on the sun visor in my car, so i would need a photo of that as well.

the higher the resolution/ size of the picture the better.

either PM them to me or post them here and i will see what magic i can work.

    • What could be causing my clutch problem besides a bad master or slave then? Both those parts are new
    • Just came across this, but in QLD I start leave again in 2 weeks, if it is still available I might drive up and check it out Unless, @MBS206 do you live near here????, if so I could hit you up with a finders fee https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/hope-island/auto-body-parts/nc-mx5-factory-hard-top/1328976391
    • My hold point for future mods is that I want a OEM detachable hard top first, but, finding one is a pain, MX5 Mania are looking for one for me, but, as hens teeth are more common, finding one in Australia is proving problematic  I can get a OEM one from overseas, hell, you can still get new ones in 'Merica, but, shipping is a absolute killer and I cannot justify the cost, or the risk of it being damaged during transport As for the aftermarket hardtops, whilst they do the job of being a hard top, and are fine for a track car, they don't seal well (read: leak like a sieve in the rain), and you need a plastic/poly rear window, plus they are a bolt in option only and not made to be easily removed I liked how the hard top on my NB could be fitted, and removed, by myself, in less than 5 minutes I know it sounds bad, but I'm waiting for someone to write off a car with one so I can swoop in on their pain, it will go to a good home though, so my guilt of this is tempered
    • I’ve got one on mine and it’s fine,
    • No, you don't want to plug the vacuum line, as that will turn that side of the booster into an air spring and probably make it feel worse. I'm not saying that the GTR master itself doesn't need a booster. I haven't paid attention to the GTR one to know what size it is cf the non-GTR ones. But when you think about it - they have to do the same job, which is to move a little slave piston a few mm to do what it is supposed to do, and that final action is the same on all the cars. So, it is very unlikely that the GTR MC is any different than the others, because it has the same pedal stroke and the same output requirement. The booster just makes it feel easier. I'd suggest you probably have an actual hydraulic problem. It's totally common on these old shitboxes.
