Help! AC Compressor

The Compressor has blown the bung at the rear a few days ago. Whenever the system is pumped up the gas just leaks from the rear of the compressor.

Yesterday we removed it, what options do I have for finding a replacement 12A compressor?

don't they all have to be 134a now?

they arent cheap, got one for $300, then found out mine aint bad. still got it at home.

pain in the ass to replace, had to remove the sway bar and unbolt and drop out! be ok if you've got a hoist though

We slipped it out without removing anything like that.

My mate is going to look at it when he gets back to town. Probably rebuild it

if possible.

Then the R12 regassing is free.

they must be different on the r32, only just realised that you have an r32!

i emailed several places over east and in SA - the cheapest was www.upimports.com.au

got it for $200.

Will an R31 Skyline/VL commodore compressor fit? They're both R12 systems and can be picked up for well under $50. Perhaps another $50 to have different flanges welded on though.

A mate is checking the compressor out for me next week.

If it turns out to be completely stuffed I will start chasing a replacement.

I have got the airflow meter repaired by plastic welders.

To add to my previous post about using an R31 pump, you may need the mount that holds the compressor to the engine block. I know for certain the mount is different between R31 to R33, not certain for R32.

well I have all the R32 bits cause I just removed the compressor. and that reminds me a mate just wrote off his vl with working air con. That will be my second option
