Where To Get A Half Cage For An R33 Gtst (4point)

Hey guys its been a couple of months now and been doing some research, i found that a couple of you guys from SAU have been getting the Brown Davis cage, i was mainly after a cage where its already made and i can put it in at home...i dont really care about the vic-roads cams affliated stuf... so yeh

i looked on yahoo auctions but theres all wierd ones.. was just wondering if you guys know any that are made and i can buy off the shelf..cheers

Brown Davis or Meridan Motorsport.... there is a reason for it

When you look @ the costs for their stuff vs a 2nd hand Jap one ($600 vs $900-$1100) IMO it's silly not to get a brand new one and the added bonuses:

- Being street legal

- Meeting much tougher safety requirements = more safety for you

Otherwise if you must, then just troll the FS area, they come up from time to time and generally do not sell to fast/easily

Build to VicRoads specifications, therefore street legal. All you need to know really.

None of the Jap cages are legal.

What you need to know is that you can still get defected for having a half cage only if it is registered as a 4 or 5 seater.

My car is now registered as a 2 seater with a brown davis half cage so is not a problem
