Rear Knuckle Ball Joint?

hey guys im not to sure what this part is called or even if you can replace it, tried to do a serach but couldnt find much.

can this part be replaced, if it can how do you remove it and replace and whats the part number.

also would it be cheaper just to buy a 2nd hand knuckle?

that is a ball joint you can only buy from nissan. they are not cheap. and almost all of them are rooted in 2nd hand hubs.

but worst of all, they really stuff the handling, leads to an "inconsistent" feeling at the rear that most people assume is a HICAS issue.

Those ball joints are f**king expensive from Nissan!

$150 from Nissan is not too bad. That's for a 32GTR though, are they the same? Make sure the person you speak to at nissan is ONLY quoting you for the ball joint and not the joint and arm assembly. Nissan dealer I called did that and gave me a quote for $490 fr/L/lower and $530 fr/R/lower I loled and went to Centreline and got Chris to get them in for me from Nissan... $300 for both so $150 each. Maybe try giving him a call.

Oh and your's are well gone, don't bother with 2nd hand because it's just going to fail again on you
