R32 GTR '90

Start it up and the 4wd and ABS lights are on from the get go. Hicas light comes on after 10 minutes of driving.

No fault codes on the ecu. I have absolutely no idea where to go from here

It was all fuses and when I bought the car is had no dash cluster, so one has been installed For some reason I think this could be an issue, eg wrong year dash installed playing with electronics.

I know there is information out there somewhere about how to check the 4wd and ABS sensors, but Ive searched high and low, no luck.

ANY help is appreciated

Have you checked the fluids?

Also, I think on R32 there are 2 different dash maybe you have late model dash on early model?

Try sourcing early model dash and see how you go.

Checked fluids, Both are all good. I would try a different dash If it wasnt so hard to get my hands on them. If I can get one, Ill try it. If anybody has had a problem similar would be great to hear about it.

Check all your earths make sure every things tight and clean. I had a loose alternator earth which was causing my 4wd and ABS lights to come on took me about a week to track the fault down was very painful... Hope its something easy...

Battery is old, but is fully charged. I have another I can try it
When the battery gets old, it loses a lot of its charge during the start process. The alternator puts a lot of charge back into the system to replenish the battery. The ECUs detect this higher than normal charge rate and generate an error condition.

Get a new battery.
