Hi guys,

Just got a question in regards to a 93 Honda Civic. I know it's not a nissan but I hope some of you could put some informative info. The car is my housemate's.

The engine died all of a sudden in the middle of the road.

We have tried:

Jump starting the car with jumper cables connected to my car. The battery's fully charged so I guess we can rule that out. When the keys are in the ignition, the radio and windows still work too.

The car grinds when you turn the key, but it just won't start. Shouldn't be the starter motor cause if it's stuffed, it should just have a click sound and shouldn't grind.

I'm wondering, could it be maybe the spark plugs or the coils? Maybe they are worn? Or maybe the plugs just got wet?

Some advice would be deeply appreciated.

Regards,

Bernard
