yer i know =( yer got the money back. good luck with your car!

Thats silly. Organiser should have been more organised!

they have done this heaps of times, never been a problem, to point the finger at Ray and the crew isnt right.

cops were there at the last one, they just hang around westal road and go people being stupid, and there was more people there then.

friday was cold and wet still a big turn out but there have been bigger, cops are just using their anti-hoon bullshit in anyway possible.

being a blitz weekend also, cops are just getting a bit to big for their own shoes lately.

if they hung around for a bit they could see for themselves it doesnt need to be controlled, common sense and courtesy when maneuvering the cars in the street make these Dyno night run smooth.

filth i couldn't make it stuck at work :ninja: ,did the nur get a run? if it did what he get out of it?

Nathans nur? It ran around a 214awkw or something like that, he was on the dyno straight after my run.

they cancelled it coz the red commo did a burnout and someone call the cops....

everyone one does the right thing then some idiot ruins it for everyone. isnt that just the story of our lives!!!!!

Yeap it sure did. Dunno if thats the true power but I know with a power fc, cam gears and more boost it can become 300+ so we will see

^ seems as though the dyno was reading low. But of coarse that means nothing because a dyno can be made to read what ever you want. All of my friends cars read 15-25kw less than what they have on previous dyno's

Specifically the '86 which ended up making less power than the last RE dyno night even though it had more modifications.

Im still happy with the way my car went though. 138.9kw from a VH45 with filter and NICO ecu only. I was very suprised with how loud it was on the dyno too haha.

Its a bit sad though that the 4.5lt v8 only makes 8kw more than my E15 pulsar on the same dyno lol

I agree...i wasted my money to pay for that shit....got approx 50kw less than my previous dyno....my car did 267 rwkw....and at RE it only read 197 awkw...70kws u loose from a rw dyno to aw dyno? dont think so....

Lol yea I had 275.6 on a few dynos but rays seems to think I have 232kw

man those cops were seriously f**kheads I dont understand what theyre on these days those blokes. and that stupid woman.

they were yelling out to us telling us that 'all these cars are illegally parked blah blah'...so we wondered wtf is their problem these days?

they also thought they were pretty smart and happy to let us know that 'we could give out quite a few defects here i reckon'....

seriously if a freaking dyno night has to be shut down for god knows what reason whats next?

its not the first time, the springy motors dyno night was also shut down for no apparent reason a few months ago too.

i really just dont understand cops these days.

its as if they need to feel they have power to make up for the respect they keep losing every day. and also to get back at those who bullied them in their high school days.

    • So, when are you trying the new GR86 or BRZ?
    • Uncle Duncan Yeap, FI Interchiller  Works well, normal IAT's cruising with the WTA only went from 50°c+ to 25-30°c with the interchiller  Before, when on it hard, the IAT would see 80-90°c, now, the highest has been was around 38°c IIRC IAT is measured under the blower hat I recommend it for the street or strip where your only on it hard for 10 or so seconds, but it wouldn't be efficient for sustained track use as it would heat soak from the AC turning off or whatever it does during WOT to protect the compressor It really needs the AC running for it to not heat soak and keep the WTA coolant chilled My WTA coolant temps when just cruising is around 2°c
    • Hey Mark...sorry to interrupt your career change to hair dressing... but...did you ever fit the interchiller to the commodore, and if so how was it? And, who made it?
    • I've been pondering this, I really enjoy the convertible thing, for me, it's like riding a motorbike, without all the issue of riding a motorbike, mainly, my old sore arthritic joints getting beaten up, and, being able to do it in shorts and a T-shirt and not needing a helmet and all the other gear required, especially like wearing jackets and pants in the summer, or needing 6 layers of cloths in the winter, or not having wet weather gear handy when your 100km away from home on the bike when it decides to start raining As for the hard top and its Coupe look, whilst I do lose all that open top feeling that I really enjoy, from my experience with the NB with a detachable hard top, the cabin is a much nicer place to be, the difference in noise for one, a hard top quietens down the interior, alot, with the soft top up or down it's pretty noisy, which, after 5 or so hours, can get tiring But, as you stated, the detachable hard top totally changes the look of the car, in a really good way, and for me, the look of a detachable hard top is so much better than the PRHT which looks more like a after thought with its weird bulbous rear roof line For me, the minimal effort of putting in on, or storing it after removing it, is well worth the time and effort for the look alone And yes, I'm sure the next owner will be grateful for it as well.......
