Hi guys,

just wondering if anyone has used or heard of the brand Massive? Local car store is going to start stocking them and they tend to dabble into the higher quality speakers ie DLS etc. In particular, the speakers i was curious about are:

Thanks :ermm:

The Amps pumping 4,000 Watts at 0.5 ohm is pretty good for its range... If you wanna spend a little bit extra, go Ground Zero amps, 10,000 Watts at 1-ohm!

The speakers cost 160 for a Slim speaker, would be better to get Pioneer for that extra loud-ness for a similar price... higher wattage rating too with Pioneer speakers, Hertz speakers is something like Massive Audio speakers too

Massive Audio walks all over pioneer brand , the crossovers etc are way better then all but the top of pioneer range. why slim mounts ? don't need them on most cars ?

there are only a few dozen big speaker plants in the world, they rebrand /mix the specs on parts a bit and sell at different price points. which is why so many speakers look like Morel, Dynaudio, vifa, etc.

I know a speaker designer in USA and he provide specs, and farm the construction out to Kicker in stillwater Oklahoma, in case you wonder , he does sonic boom recreation for NASA on the spaceshuttle and a few other massive projects.

amps are the same way, they use the same boards with different logo and heatsinks on a lot of major brands.

    • interesting. ive read and heard otherwise over the past year. ive been doing this +t conversion on a rb20 neo using all oem rb25det neo parts including the ECU, and im having engine cut out issues when I hit around 5 psi of boost. Everywhere/everyone ive asked has told me its because I never wired in a boost solenoid/actuator to the ecu, so the ecu isn't getting the right signal once it hits 5 psi of boost, causing the engine to get shut off.

    • Something strange is happening. I didn't touch the car since we last spoke on the forums. Yesterday was the first day of good weather, so i took it out for about 2 hours. It started up on first crank every time about 5 times total. I literally didn't do anything to do the car.
    • I purchased this one. Very well priced and works great. I was rough with it to see if it will last and had no issues.  Teslong Two-Way Articulating Borescope with Light, Industrial Endoscope Inspection Camera with Articulated Probe, Flexible Mechanic Fiber Optic Snake Scope Cam for Wall Automotive Engine Inspect-5FT : Amazon.ca: Industrial & Scientific
    • I've done about 4000km's on it. I'm thinking of maybe "Working" from home aka my garage this week and getting it out so I can drop it off early next week. He said bring it over right away and didn't make any excuses, so it seems like he's going to work with me on getting it resolved asap. I'll let you know what I find when I take it apart later this week.
