GUys i finally got my original pump out. (dam hoses were sooo tight) anyway I have now mounted the pump on the bracket & wired it all in.

My question is how the Heck is it fitted.

I have spent ages fiddleing with it in the tank but to no avail, it just dosnt seem to fit.

Is there something I am missing as others have got it in??

I have attached a phone pic of the pump mounted on the bracker with a hose clamp around the pump after cutting the original bracket. maybe peoples on here dont hose clamp as this is all I can see that maybe stopping it go in or do you have to insert it a certain way or somthing...

Please help as its getting cold and I am starting to lose my temper with this pump..

Try moving the hose clamp tightening screw so it is at 90 degrees to the cradle back, ie opposite side to the "locking tab". I cant remember exactly, but i had a similar issue, and it was the screw that was stopping if from going in, rotate it till it fits.

finally got it in, yes i did rotate the hose clamp. i actually added some fuel hose (cut a 1cm piece & and split it in 1/2 ) to mount behind the bracket & pump. I noticed the original was supported on rubber so i did this to removed any vibrations. Boy what a pain in the arse job though.... its in and staying that way now though as I dont want to go through this dramma again...

thanks for advice though guys....

Ps I get this fixed then my pc has a hernia hence my late reply back. Now to fix that bloody pc...hmmm
