hey guys how yas doing, ive recentely upgraded the turbos on my r32 gtr to hks 25/30s, is there any way i can run watsegate or 2 of them some how, the car has just been done, ive never dealt with an external wastegate but was just thinking is it possible to put it on the gtr, btw its low mount, as much replies would be appreciated thank you

Kind of hard to understand what you are asking. You want to know whether you can run an external wastegate (or two) on your setup which is currently running internal gates? If this is the case, why?

yeppp thats what im asking, i wa sspeaking to a few boys down here but i didnt really want to go with what they said, id rather post it on here as guys from here would probably know more, its running the turbos as ive mentioned above

Ok I thought that's what you were asking.

So back to my question I posted, why do you want to go to external wastegates when the internal wastegates on 2530s work perfectly fine? Let me guess, screamer pipe?

yeah man i just want it to work better, if its better running the internal ill leave it but if external is bvetter for it ill do it, what would i have to do though?

nahh man got no boost controller problem was just thinking if its better ill go ahead and do it, i just want to knwo what will work better for my car with these turbos, internal or an external, if external how is it possible to do?

Nothing wrong with the 2530 internal wastegates. Been running em with HKS dumps for years and they do not spike, creep etc.

The wastegates are a lot bigger than the pissy stock ones. Dump pipes that have a separate outlet for the wastegate gases is the way to go with less turbulence than the stockers.

Yep the stock internal gates on them are completely fine and the amount of money you would spend turning them to externals would be money better spent elsewhere. Not to mention to absolutely no benefit.

yeah im running hks 25/30s with the older style tomei dumps, what will i need to make it external, what would need to be changed as ive never chased information on these, what wold i need to take off and purchase?

Whoever these people are

"i was speaking to a few boys down here but i didnt really want to go with what they said"

Then don't listen to them anymore, they clearly have NO idea what they are talking about.

You do not need external wastegates for HKS 2530's. They work perfectly fine on their own.

There is zero performance gains by performing such a modification.

The only thing that will happen is you wasting your money
