Ebc Install - R34 Gt-t Kick Panel Removal

Hi, I am installing a Gizzmo EBC to an R34 GT-T.

I have searched and read all about passing wires and tubing through

the big grommit after removing the inner plastic guard of the right front wheel.

My problem (almost embarassed to say - because I am sure it will be simple) is that

I cannot remove the driver side kick panel.

I removed the nut near the accelerator (on the carpet).

I removed the SKYLINE sill and pulled out the rubber strip between the kick panel

and body.

But it does not seem to want to come out and I don't want to force/break anything.

Have I missed a plug or screw somewhere?

I can just see the tip of the coat hanger wire I poked through but cannot get to it unless I remove the kick panel

where you pulled the door seal of look through the crack and you'll see two clips, pop them out with a flatblad screwdriver and its out

I thought it would be something simple once you knew the trick of it.

The kick panel is now off but, as it is about 8 degrees in the shed at the moment, I'll finish the install tomorrow.
