A thread that only has posts that are 100% related to the topic, where do you think you are?? this is the interwebs where sifting through bull shit to find what you want is half the fun.

You are playing in a male dominated arena, i dont believe any posts in here from males are going to scare off females who want to join in, you need to face the fact that very few chicks are into cars, even fewer own a nice car themselves and even fewer again own imports, your targeting a very small audience and in a very small period of time on a forum you are new to, how about you firstly post up a thread to find out how chicks are on here (or search for one im sure there has been a few) once you get a good list then send out some invites to a cruise, no cruise is a success when you only give 2 days notice.

This was actually organised a few weeks ago on another car forum, and since we got an overwhelming response on there we decided at last minute (as I stated in my first post) to see if other forums had some ladies interested.

I never assumed there wouldn't be guys posting in here, I thought mods would take care of that like they had on other forums but obviously not lol

Pretty pessimistic attitude you have there but thats fine, believe it or not there are alot of females around that are into cars, I know that might be hard to get your head around. We're not expecting to have every female in Melbourne on board, the 20 we have so far for this cruise tomorrow is already more than we expected!

Hey guys/girls,

This isnt a thread to start a shit fight about guys vs girls. Its an invitation for other girl car enthusiasts to meet each other. Yes we realise it is a very small group of people who actually fit that category but there is no harm in it. Not only is this a cruise but we will be having a chat if we want to take this further.

I.e. skid pan days, going up to winton together etc

Because for some girls who dont have any male mates on the scene its hard to progress you're knowledge (which results in many of them being ripped off at workshops) on cars and your skills in drifting, touge, drag whatever you desire. We are looking to bridge that gap which may actually get more girls on the scene, who decide not to or dont get more involved because of this, or because when they take the step and join a forum to do so they are bombarded with "PICS OR BAN", "TITS OR GTFO" and they cant be bothered with it.

We are not prudes or anything the like, we appreciate the help guys give us and the support, generally us girls who modify our cars spend majority of our time with guys so we're used to these sort of comments, but, sometimes its nice to be around other girls for once. This is just, like i said, a bridge for other girls who are interested to progress more in what they desire, import cars.

Pending how today goes we will dig further to find more girls who are car enthusiasts- look on more forums etc. This will be on again because id like to drive my own car to one, but, thanks to vicpol this wasnt possible for this cruise. -.-
